Components

The Reflex Level Gauge operates on the principle of light refraction and total internal reflection. The gauge glass has prism grooves machined on the inner face. When the prism grooves are in contact with liquid, light passes through and appears dark. When the grooves are in contact with vapour/gas, light is totally reflected and appears bright silver, giving a clear distinction between liquid and vapour levels.
